Seattle is starting to feel like “Long Beach North” with all the appearances by Uncle Snoopy! Between the concerts, nightclubs, Canibus appearances, and even a youth football game last month it’s starting to feel like Snoop might be from 23rd and Union… and YEP that would be ok!
The NW, the West Coast, the Country, and the world it seems, cannot get enough of him. He has been keeping us all engaged watching his hit VH1 show with Martha Stewart. “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” is an unscripted show that has featured artists such as Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, and even Seth Rogan. The point is that Snoop is EVERYWHERE!
On this return to Seattle, Snoop Dizzle is bringing some of our favorite West Coast artists! Also on the bill for the December 8th show at the Paramount Theater are Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound and DJ Quik. Over the years we have seen Warren G and BTH fall thru the Nectar or perhaps Jazzbones in Tacoma, but we the real excitement has to be around Tha Dogg Pound and DJ Quik. It’s been quite some time since we have been treated to these two acts around these parts! Imagining the entire theater rapping along to words in the song “Tonight”! Now that’s going to be dope!
You can tell that this is a concert for “Grown Folks” since the tickets are only a mere $65 each (Before Fees), but for this lineup and 20+ years of classic Westcoast music… that’s not much at all.
