It’s not easy being a factor with a highly anticipated release in the digital era. Release dates are flimsy, the market is oversaturated with ‘artists’ and the music and entertainment industries are in constant flux. The game don’t stop though and Porter Ray is keen and aware with a strong campaign in tow for his new album set for release on Mrch 10, Watercolor.
The MC/Emcee with the coco smooth and velvet flow has pushed out a couple of tracks to tease the heads looking for the fresh dope. Along with “Sacred Geometry” featuring microphone veterano, Ishmael Butler (of Digable Planets and Shabazzz Palaces) aka Palaceer (who also A&R’d the entire project), Porter Ray drops another dose of audio elixir with “Arithmetic” featuring Infinite and Stas THEE Boss (formerly of THEESatisfaction).
Porter Ray takes to the road this month with select tour dates leading up to their album release for Watercolor and arrival at SXSW (South By Southwest) 2017 in Austin, Texas in March.
