Mac Slug raised in the Central District of Seattle is the Funk-infused Hip-Hop Artist of 2621 Music Group. With influences from ScarFace, Ice Cube, NWA, EPMD, E-40, KRO-ONE, Rakim, UGK and many more; Mac Slug began taking his career serious in 1993. Working hard with his Family Taxxempt lead up to one of his first big accomplishments being a member of the first local Hip-Hop group to perform at KUBE 93’s Summer Jam 1998 – with then group Mobb Tyght Hustlas.
With several projects under his belt since then, including well received hit single “No Stoppin Us”, Mac Slug is back with “Still In the Game: Season 2” and a renewed energy. The project includes tracks that feature his signature “Funk” Style.
