Acts On Stage theater presents “KingX: The Meeting” for 8 shows (March 1 – 10). Directed by Isiah Anderson, Jr. this poignant drama is fueled by a stirring ensemble cast of local actors – Sean Goode, Moses Masitha, Joshua Webb, Michael D. Walker, and Colin Parker Stephens.
The Meeting; King X is a one act play depicting a fictitious conversation between two seminal icons of the Civil Rights movement. Ideologies simultaneously clash and merge under the watchful eye of federal surveillance and unbridled and undeclared dedication.
Acts On Stage is a community theater (launched in July 2020) committed to centering the voices, talents, and initiatives of People of Color and Creatives of Faith. We believe creativity creates change and we see #ArtsAsActivism!
