Burien’s finest Classic Eats continues to preserve and thrive to new heights

Classic Eats of Burien Washington has been one of the go-to restaurants for the city since 2016. The owner and head chef, Tony Hayes has continued since then to make new ideas and look into new avenues to keep business booming. Since opening, Hayes has laid out a twist on American classics. Such as burgers, steaks, sandwiches, pasta and much much more. With a mixture of spices and flavor, there is always something new to try or something new a customer might want to add to add a little bit of pop. For me, it’ll always be avocados, what about you?

Hayes continues to change his menu every six months to give customers a chance to try new dishes and ideas that he comes up with, but my favorite will be his omelets and his Chicken Club. The Classic and the Denver omelets have both been my favorite breakfast dish but with the Denver I always add an avocado. I’m a sucker for avocados! As for the Classic, it comes with it as well as bacon, tomatoes and green onions inside. Some more favorites as well! The flavors and just the right amount of spice are what make Hayes’ dishes memorable. As for the Chicken Club, this is my go-to for lunchtime mainly for the way the avocado tastes with the chicken. Hayes uses grilled chicken, which in the past I haven’t been a huge fan of, but with the seasoning added it separated itself, in my opinion, from the sandwich itself. I still enjoy it fried but on that sandwich, hand over the grilled chicken!

As for the future, it continues to look bright for Hayes and his business. Even though his restaurant is his main business, Hayes also continues to thrive in his incredible energy drink company Everyday is Monday, being a family man to his children and wife, and planning for the summer for Classic Eats. As for working on his restaurant, Hayes plans to have a brand new drink menu, as well as the back patio back in action come June 1st. Just in time for when we’ll want to be outside in Washington. Make sure you check out their main two pages to get more information of what might coming to the restaurant.
