One of my favorite groups from the 90s is BACK with a fresh remake of the Classic “Make it Last Forever” for a new generation. Honestly, this track is now “growing” on me as my age shows. Unfortunately for me, I could only hear the voices of Keith Sweat and Jacquie Mgee whenever I even READ the words #MakeItLastForever #IJS. Still, as I continue to play it, I am learning to appreciate the difference between the two. I like the short #Rakim Sample (Make A Clap to This) and the slightly more uptempo beat. Off top, I had to give it a listen because Koffee Brown is really from the ’90s and probably partied to this song when it was out. I will most certainly be giving this track some spins but I doubt that it will ever replace the original at the end of the night at an RnB Only Party.
