We are thrilled to share the remarkable success of Platinum Plush Fashions‘ grand opening and 23rd-anniversary celebration! Despite the typical Seattle drizzle, the turnout was incredible, and the support from the community was heartwarming.
Platinum Plush Fashions is proud to announce the unveiling of their boutique’s new look, which was made possible thru the grant support received by the city of Seattle’s Office Of Economic Development. and the expertise and dedication of Newbill Painting and Construction, a black contracting company from our very own community. Their hard work has transformed the space into a beautiful hub for both the shoppers, and the community at large.
The grand opening event surpassed all expectations, with attendees shopping until they dropped! It was a record-breaking day of sales, marking a historic milestone in our 23-year journey. This achievement is a testament to the unwavering support and loyalty of her customers over the years.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the traditional and cultural circle dance known as 2nd lining, led by none other than Nikita Mathis, the proud owner of Platinum Plush Fashions. Accompanied by a live New Orleans-style jazz brass band, the dance honored Nikita’s Creole heritage and paid tribute to her beloved grandmother, who imparted their rich culture for generations to come.
