The renowned hip-hop artists, Wu-Tang Clan and Nas, have announced their “N.Y. State of Mind” tour, which will take place at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The general public can purchase tickets on presale from 9 a.m. Friday, while American Express early-access tickets went on sale Tuesday in select North American markets via LiveNation.com.
The global tour will commence in New Zealand on May 9, followed by performances in Australia and across Europe. Wu-Tang Clan and Nas will then begin their US tour with 20 shows in Nashville starting on Sept. 20. They will also perform in Vancouver, B.C., and the Moda Center in Portland on Oct. 16-17, respectively.
Wu-Tang Clan, widely recognized as one of the most exceptional hip-hop groups, has been touring since their debut album release in 1993. Their popular songs such as “C.R.E.A.M.” (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) and “Protect Ya Neck” propelled them to triple-platinum status.
Since the release of his 1994 album, “Illmatic,” Nas (Nasir Jones) has become a household name in the music industry. He is set to join Wu-Tang Clan on their tour, and his impressive list of hits includes popular songs like “If I Ruled the World,” “Ether,” “The World Is Yours,” “One Mic,” and “Hip Hop Is Dead.”
