AFRICAN AMERICAN MALES WEEKEND
YMCA CAMP ORKILA
FRIDAY, MAY 18th to SUNDAY, MAY 20TH

Join us for a weekend full of your favorite camp skills and activities such as archery, boating, arts & crafts, archery and the zip line! Be a part of discussion groups with topics such as rites of passage, leadership, community and life skills unique to the African American Male Experience.

Hosted at beautiful YMCA Camp Orkila on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands, this weekend offers a chance to play and relax with more than 280 acres of beach, forest, and fields. Rustic cabin accommodations, transportation and all meals are included.

Volunteer African American Men will serve as chaperones and cabin counselors for unaccompanied youth ages 10 to 12.

Youth under 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult male (i.e. Father, Guardian)

Youth 13 and over will need to be accompanied by an adult male (i.e. Father, Guardian)

Cost for the weekend (Transportation, Accomodations, Camping Equipment, Meals, and Activities)

$132/adult and $111/youth
